Felting carpets is one of the most ancient crafts of the Caucasian peoples. This research tells the story of the Ingush felt carpet called Easting. We focus on its origins and its disappearance in the middle of the 20th century, as well as its revival in recent years. This book will explain what the ancient Ingush symbols mean, how they originated from petroglyphs on ancient towers, what carpets were used for, and how they reflected life.
