Graphic Design Media
Media Concept
«Why It Works» is an educational media resource about graphic design explained in simple terms. We analyze posters, packaging, websites, and social media aesthetics, demonstrating how visual solutions influence the perception of information. The main format of our posts involves a specific problem, a «before/after» comparison, an explanation of the changes, and a brief practical exercise.
Objective
To teach the reader to independently notice errors in design, understand the principles of composition, and apply them in their own work.

Studio and Editorial Model
The media is oriented toward beginner designers, SMM specialists, entrepreneurs, and independent project creators.
Main Sections
• Visual design critique • Error correction • One design technique • Practical assignments • Discussion of reader work
Venues
The main platform is Telegram. Supplementary platforms include VKontakte, YouTube, and the archive website.
Project Principle
One breakdown equals one technique you can apply today.
Data sources for media
Four groups of sources are used to prepare publications. External examples are used for analysis and inspiration, while respecting copyright. The main instructional illustrations are created by the editorial team in-house.
How Data Is Collected and Stored
Every example found or topic proposed is added to the central editorial database. For each piece of material, we record: title, source link, author, date of discovery, theme, type of design problem, usage rights, and verification status. This helps us keep track of interesting examples, avoid duplication, and plan future publications.
Tools
Google Forms for collecting suggestions, Google Sheets or Notion for the editorial database, and Figma for storing and creating learning mockups.
