LAMBORGHINI DIABLO ВЕРНУЛСЯ ИЗ 1990-Х
ВСЕГО ВЫПУСТЯТ 19 ШТ. И НИКАКИХ ЭЛЕКТРОМОТОРОВ
While the automotive industry figures out where to cram one more screen and how many electric motors a car needs for total bliss, the team at Eccentrica went in the opposite direction.
The San Marino company unveiled its V12 Roadster—a modern reinterpretation of the early Lamborghini Diablo. Furthermore, the formula is deliberately unapologetic for 2026: a naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V12, rear-wheel drive, and a six-speed manual transmission. There are no batteries or hybrid add-ons. The engine screams and produces 550 hp and 600 Nm of torque, accelerating the car to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and further—to 335 km/h. And there is no roof.

But this isn’t just a Diablo that got new wheels, a steering wheel swap, and a «Sport» decal in the garage. Eccentrica claims the project utilized over 3,500 new components. The body retains the familiar proportions of the Diablo, but the panels are constructed from carbon fiber. The roadster weighs about 1,540 kg, with a weight distribution of 41:59. It features a double-wishbone suspension, a true hydraulic steering assist—not a sterile electronic one—Brembo brakes, and Pirelli Trofeo RS tires. In short, the Diablo visited a very expensive sports physician: its character was preserved, but its knees, heart, and brakes received treatment. Eccentrica also explicitly emphasizes that it is an independent company and is not officially affiliated with Lamborghini.
The salon opted not to open a branch of an electronics store either. This features numerous physical buttons, small displays with graphics reminiscent of the Diablo era, Connolly leather, Alcantara, metal, and carbon fiber. The client can customize the colors and finishes to their preference—which makes sense, as seeing identical cars will be difficult; only 19 units will be built. The public debut of the V12 Roadster is scheduled for The Quail during Monterey Car Week. Ultimately, Eccentrica created an almost perfect vehicle for people who are tired of the word «electrification"—the nineties Diablo received a modern body, but resolutely refused to grow up.
