A short documentary video, «The Mystery of a Single Death, ” is the third installment of my original series dedicated to unusual and lesser-known criminal stories. In this project, I select cases with enigmatic circumstances.
A young teacher discovered men’s shoes in the restroom of her dormitory. Upon opening the septic tank lid, she saw human legs. Her deceased friend, 26-year-old Naoyuki Kanno, was found in the cold, decaying pipe.
As part of my graduation project, I independently selected the theme, researched materials, developed the script, hosted the video, and managed its promotion on social media after publication. The video focuses on an incident in Japan: a young man, Naoyuki Kanno, was found dead in a septic tank. After publishing it on Instagram (Instagram is owned by Meta, a company designated as an extremist organization and banned in the Russian Federation), the graduation project garnered 2.7 thousand views, 106 likes, and 9 comments.
