Having a pet is not always easy. Almost everyone has ever faced the fact that pet hair gradually covers all the surfaces of the house, gathering in lumps in the corners, clinging to clothes.

S K E T C H
A person and a pet living together under the same roof gradually set their lives in tune. It’s not just about schedules or walks, but about the «introduction» of the attributes of the animal into the image of the person. In the sketch, the figure gradually becomes covered in patches of pet hair, symbolizing the symbiosis between the owner and the pet.
C O N T E X T A pet spends their whole life side by side with their host. Pets are completely dependent on humans, but humans also become dependent on their pets.
P e t — coexistence with an animal adds bright colors into a person’s life, makes it richer, and prolongs it. Communication with a pet reduces the likelihood of developing mental, emotional, and behavioral disorders to a minimum.
H a i r — integral attribute of any furry animal. It is part of their appearance, their individual image. Hair tends to continually shed, clinging to clothing, upholstery, carpets, getting into the food and water.

We asked our friends to comb out their pets. Since the texture and color of each animal’s fur is individual, the installation is filled with different shades and textures. Also, as additional materials for the installation, we visited a grooming store.
