A little movement can make a big difference!

Brands, cultural institutions, and independent creators are all fighting for the same attention, and the visual landscape keeps getting busier. With so many messages aimed at the same audience, even a strong idea can get overlooked — or simply forgotten.
2D animation offers a way out of that noise. Movement, personality, and visual storytelling give people a reason to stop, connect with your message, and at 0; it.
Let’s bring your brand to life!

Moodboard, sketches and the final character design
This project was created for the State Museum— Cultural Center «Integration» named after N. A. Ostrovsky, an institution dedicated to making cultural life more accessible to people with disabilities.
For the visual direction, I drew inspiration from UPA’ s distinctive animation style, alongside mid-century animation and editorial illustration from the 1950s and ’60s.

The brief came with a few specific requirements:
- The main goal was to familiarise visitors with the museum’s layout and facilities before their visit, helping them understand where to find what they need and how to navigate the space.
- The main character is a friendly, smiling tour guide.
- To create a welcoming and comfortable viewing experience, the visuals needed to avoid harsh movements, startling transitions, and overly intense colours.

Interior photos
Next, I visited the museum in person and photographed its interiors from different angles. These photographs became the reference for the animated backgrounds, allowing me to preserve the recognisable features of the real spaces while adapting them to the colour palette and subtle stylisation established at the start of the project.

Beyond animation
Other creative projects
Outside animation, I enjoy exploring different creative disciplines and combining them in new ways. I work with traditional art materials, gained my first experience in branding during my first year at university, and have a basic working knowledge of 3D in Blender. I’ve been creating sound design for my own animation projects since my first year at university. In my third year, I also tried my hand at music composition.
