October 27 at the «Rovesnik» bar, as part of the «Grand Cartoon Festival, ” there will be an evening of music videos. The program will feature 34 music videos by students from the Animation, CGI, and Visual Effects program at the School of Design and other Russian animators—spanning genres from ethnic and punk to pop and indie-electronica.
This year, the Grand Cartoon Festival, in collaboration with the HSE Art and Design School, is hosting its third evening of music videos at the «Rovesnik» bar. «Vyshka» has previously showcased new student works—music videos—by third-year students at «Rovesnik.» The main part of the program will feature student clips set to music from artists and bands they particularly admire: «Nezhnoe eto» and Dyavolisa, «Khvatit payasnichat» and «Kosmos na potolke,» «Shchenki» and «Auktsion,» ethnic and punk music, pop, and indie-electronica. They will also be joined by new Russian animated clips from the festival’s competitive and special programs.Two hours of musical animation and animated music will take place in two parts with an intermission.
