Semi-structural painting of ceramic plates

The project brings together the art of calligraphy and ceramics. Plates of white and red clay were created for the work: the shape resembles both the sheet of paper and the usual dishes. This image unites the letter and the object of the household. The Russian script is a semi-platform. The text uses the rare 16th — 20th — century proverbs and proverbs to convey, through calligraphy, the spirit of an antiquated language and to feel connected to the cultural past.
