The project draws inspiration from historical costume and is based on the concept of a scroll — a symbol of independence and the declaration of rights.

This paper scroll dress was loaned for a photoshoot with an actress Sabina Akhmedova.

Collection explores migration and belonging in the modern age. In an era when relocation has become the norm, we are all turning into nomads. Individuals increasingly move away from identifying with any single, specific culture, instead absorbing fragments of diverse experience — much like gathering items for one’s own personal baggage.

This collection is the most publicly recognized one: it was loaned for photoshoots, has been a part of an art project for a charity organization and is now partly in the personal collection of an art historian and creator Vika Chuma.

The project explores clothing as a means of shelter for a generation deprived of a permanent place. If a home is no longer guaranteed, it becomes something one carries on one’s own body.

This project has won the first place in the DAFES Fashion nomination. This shows its visual potential.

Some of my collections haven’t been a part of a collaborative process yet. They are also available for loaning, exhibiting and styling.
