The Bukhara Carpet Museum project reimagines the visual identity of a cultural space dedicated to one of Central Asia’s oldest crafts. Located in the historic Magoki Attori Mosque, the museum presents the diversity of national carpets and preserves the stories of weaving traditions and schools that passed this knowledge from generation to generation. The visual system is built around the idea of carpets as «threads that tell stories.» Traditional ornaments, archival imagery and the deep red palette are translated into a contemporary typographic and graphic language across posters, editorial materials, outdoor signage, merchandise and exhibition communication. The project shows how I approach cultural heritage as a living source for modern design — preserving its meaning while making it clear, relevant and recognizable for a new audience.

Carpet as Part of Uzbek Everyday Life is an editorial project that explores Uzbek carpets not only as decorative objects, but as cultural texts carrying traditions, rituals and collective memory. The book looks at how patterns, materials and ways of use reflect everyday life and preserve values passed through generations. The visual system combines archival photography, historical references, carpet fragments and a restrained typographic structure. I wanted the design to feel contemporary while keeping the cultural material at the center, turning research into a clear and engaging editorial narrative. The project shows how I use communication design to make heritage accessible, relevant and visually meaningful for a modern audience.

Madrasah Blocks is a display typeface inspired by Eastern architecture, especially the distinctive shapes of arches and domes. These architectural forms became the foundation of the letter construction, creating a modular system with a strong geometric rhythm and recognizable character. The project explores how traditional architectural motifs can be transformed into a contemporary typographic language, preserving their cultural reference while making them work as a flexible and expressive design tool.

If you’re looking for a communication designer who can turn cultural context, research and visual ideas into a clear and distinctive identity, I’d be happy to collaborate.

Let’s create something meaningful together.
