VLADA SIDOROVA 2D animator & illustartor
A Little About Me
My name is Vlada Sidorova. I’m a 2D animator who prefers traditional frame-by-frame animation, as well as an illustrator. I’m passionate about creating dynamic artwork across a wide range of themes.
I have experience working with a jewelry brand, a musical artist, and several other clients. I’d love to collaborate with companies looking to incorporate unique and engaging visual concepts into their brands, as well as art enthusiasts interested in commissioning custom illustrations or animations based on their own ideas.

SKILLS (main work programs)
Jewelry and Animation

This project for the brand LUO ATELIER was a big experiment for me. It allowed me to explore a delicate color palette, soft shapes, and fluid movements that were quite new to my usual style. The goal was to create vertical promotional animations based on storylines developed by the client.
Nature-inspired motifs, mountains, fresh air, natural minerals, and gemstones are the key elements of the visual aesthetic.
Romantic Drama and Heartbreak in Animation
I had the pleasure of collaborating with musician Aivan, who wanted me to create an animated music video for one of his best-known songs, «Para».

I had the opportunity to explore themes and a color palette that felt much more familiar to me. Sharp, dynamic movements, a tense atmosphere, and dark colors helped convey the mood and narrative of the music video, which tells the story of a couple consumed by jealousy, anxiety, and exaggeration, ultimately leading to their breakup.
«Light eroticism mixed with tension, tenderness mixed with tragedy» — this is how the singer described his song and the atmosphere I was asked to capture in the video.
My responsibilities included character design, storyboarding, animation, compositing, color grading, and editing.
I work not only on large-scale, long-term projects but also on short animation pieces in differet styles, some of which I’ve brought together in my showreel.

Mystery and Horror in Illustration
One of my darkest projects, yet also one of my favorites. The task was to create a series of illustrations for a calendar dedicated to the works of Edgar Allan Poe.
