What unites grandmothers and grandchildren? Love for each other and for good stories! On August 21st, the «Sphere X5» space will host the «Roots and Branches» festival, dedicated to intergenerational dialogue. The festival will open with a Knitting Marathon, held alongside screenings of animated films by students from the HSE Art and Design School.
The program features over 40 short films created by students in the «Animation, CGI, and Visual Effects» specialization. Prepare for touching narratives about family values, unexpected New Year’s gifts, and the first care for our smaller companions. You will see how a boy finds a way to give himself a kitten despite his mother’s allergies; how an old tin can on an empty lot transforms into a treasure; how a walk in the forest can change everything. Musical sketches, animal fables, reflections on time and space, amusing everyday situations, and philosophical parables—a vital dose of kindness awaits!
