Finally, furniture for cats and their owners! «Mur Mur Mur» is designed not just for people, but for cats too. This project showcases not just a chair, but a scratching post—a «chair-tochka.» It’s a cozy nest for you and your kitty.
Concept:
For ages, cats have loved their owners. Unfortunately, they liked not only spending time with people but also mimicking them. This includes interacting with the items their owners pay special attention to—for example, playing with sofas, armchairs, pillows, and so on.
What if we let cats scratch furniture? Perhaps this isn’t just a quirk, but a way for them to spend more time with their owners and stay closer to them. In that case, let’s try designing a scratching post that could be the perfect solution to this species conflict.

The chair model was created in Maya and rendered in Blender.
Thanks to the removable sisal mats, the Cat-Chair is more durable than comparable products on the market. Furthermore, the mere fact that it is a chair will attract your cat far more than a standard scratching post!
