A two-part edition of the monograph by the Russian composer Nastasia Khrushevoy on global and private processes of transition to methamoderne, describing «new simplicity» and music as an art that began a new state of culture.

Forzacs with Touchdesigner generators
The conceptual basis of the project is to divide the book space into two sections. The two equal parts, «Old: Methamodern in themselves» and «Prepared: Methamodern in music», follow the adjacent strips in opposite directions.
After completing the first part, the reader, who reached the end of the physical block, reverses the book and continues reading, returning to the beginning.
The original text contains an eccentric, seemingly random illustrative series consisting of memes (in a broad sense). In order to structurally separate the bright visual images from the serious tone of the narrative, the original images are separated from the text and placed in the turns of the related chapters in the form of cards.
As a second-level illustration, audio-reactive compositions were generated in Touchdesigner. Adaptive graphics, changing to specific sounds, have become illustrations for the musical works listed in the book, which are key to methamodern.
Pictures serve as Schmutztituls, sharing the chapters of the monograph
Many chapters are preceded by an epigraph: it is always placed on a separate page, and the footnotes to the epigraph are placed on the next page.
In the second part, there are references to bits of specific works. The notes are introduced into the narrative, immediately illustrating the author’s reasoning.
