Stasis — an archive restoration workshop where personal and institutional archives—photographs, letters, books—are given a second life. The archive is not viewed as a static object, but as a living memory system that requires careful analysis, delicate intervention, and reinterpretation.

The Stasis Method is the path of every object through five stages: diagnosis, reconstruction, stabilization, systematization, and archiving. This builds a complete cycle of working with memory and forges a new perspective on restoration culture.
The project’s audience consists of young people for whom the archive is not merely a collection of items, but a part of their personal and family identity—a connection to their roots.

Brand identity and communication are constructed along a line and a timeline: numbering and chronology organize chaos, much like files in an archive, emphasizing systematic rigor and meticulous precision. A restrained color palette alludes to archival, museum-quality work, while the archival photographs serve as a reminder—that one’s own history is important to know and preserve.
