Starting with the first round-the-world voyages aimed at geographic discoveries, a person continues to prove how unique his or her capabilities are. Three routes, three eras, three stories, each different from the previous one. By comparing the different worlds, we have to understand what lies at the heart of the dream of overtaking the globe, and why the idea of making nature an ally today is still valid.

The book tells three stories, covers three different eras, so the layout of the publication is tellingly divided into three different-scale formats.

The first part of the book is about Francis Drake’s sea voyage around the world. The format is smaller than that of other parts, but it only increases the value of information that has not been fully preserved since the 16th century.
Part one, chapter one, and beginning of chapter
A footnote of terminology pushes out the main column of the text
Coordinates always play a key role
The smurfs of the parts follow the design of the model, and it is the parts that are visible in the «lesenk» when the book is closed.
The second part describes the only vertical round-the-world journey by Ranulph Fines. This is why the text is turned and the format becomes vertical. This is done to send the reader directly into the most unusual format of the world’s journey in history.
Smaller events are mentioned inside the sub-chapters. Such dates are always «broken». This solution is used for inland navigation to avoid overloading the reader on key dates.
The principle of drawing an illustrative series is based on a reduction in scale.
The third part is the light of our day on the air balloon of Fedor Konyukhov. The most «wrapped» format of all. It was in this case that the photographic material highlighted the scale of the fastest flight and the largest balloon.
Every chapter has a brand-coloured plaque, quoted by travelers.
Large outline of the contents of the book
Monochromicism, as a visual tool, creates contrasts with previous chapters. The reverse game begins when modernity is a lack of paint, and outdated manuscripts are brighter than everyone else. The boundaries of time are erased, and the ages are levelled.
The final part of the publication is infographic. The result of a personal study and a comparison of all three worlds. The diagram collects all key data. Challenged lines encourage the reader to go his own way and analyze it himself.
The content is placed at the end, in a more detailed format. Since the world travel is based on the idea of an endless circle, it was decided to shift the perspective from the usual «initial» content. This turn-up consists of a map showing the true routes of the book’s heroes. And the small cardboard depositors specify the navigation inside the book.
