Book: I Miss the Tretyakov Gallery
The Arctic is usually depicted as white: snow, ice, silence. The Tretyakov Gallery exhibition, «Arctic. Pole of Color,» showed it differently. It showcased crimson sunsets over drifting stations, luminous green ribbons of light, turquoise seas, and pink skies above the tundra. I left the exhibition with the feeling that I had seen the North for the first time. Now, I live in Yerevan, and I miss the Tretyakov Gallery. This project is a way to return there at any moment.
