Why is stability in life achieved only through constant movement, and why is stopping perceived as falling? Through a children’s toy, I illustrate how a simple rule is set for a person from the very beginning: stopping equals falling. In childhood, this is experienced as a game—while the top is spinning, it is interesting, but as soon as it stops, it loses its meaning. In my project, I shift the focus from the toy’s shape to its internal principle—the spiral as the core of motion. It is this spiral that becomes the support, holding the system in place and preventing it from stopping.
