My ikigai is drawing wild trees of various species.
By drawing foliage with ink in the Ikigai technique, I can relax and let my hands roam free: I am not required to strictly adhere to proportions or numerous rules, as I am when drawing people or architecture; the branches and canopies are chaotic and varied, each new one distinct in its own way—no two trees are alike.
