Mise en abyme is a recursive artistic technique of placing a copy of an image within itself, or a story in a story.

Mise en abyme is a game where you are an object for observation and an observer, an invisible person and the main character of the film.

The game presents a story of two people frozen in time and known only to themselves.

A player records their story, a version of the events by controlling the camera only.
The game records the story as photo cards taken during the gameplay.
Illustrations shown before each level work as a psychological test, and may hint at the essence of the problem or the characters’ feelings.
Phrases are accompanied by photos which indicate the characters’ thoughts and feelings.
The zero level pushes the player to experiment and use their imagination. At the beginning there are only two people and a table. Gradually, each level is supplemented with items.
