Mohammadpur: where I grew up, spending almost 16 years of my life. It’s living, energetic, attractive, and fulfilled. Fulfilled with joys, sorrows, and a hunger for enjoyment, potential, and some other fancy words that I clearly don’t know.
This video represents a part of me that loves Mohammadpur. It’s not just about feeling good when I go out. It’s about the ever-living, ever-growing, never-complaining spirit of the place.
The true aroma splits through the chaos. The purely addictive street food, drawing people from 50-60 km away to savor its delights to the convenience of its location in the capital (Dhaka), I’m grateful to have grown up here.
Fun fact: The sound design of most of the clips is RAW. When I was planning the video I thought, I don’t have any professional gear and setup to make a cool cinematic video. So, why not use still shots and the RAW sound of Mohamadpur to represent the chaos with just a phone?
