The Moscow Transport Museum has opened a new installation «What Am I Carrying?» at the North River Terminal devoted to the end of the river navigation season. The architecture of the installation was developed by the architectural bureau «.dpt». It includes vivid design with historical references that tell about the times when The Moskva River was an important shipping highway back in the 1930s. Since then, Moscow was called as «The Port of Five Seas.»

Bright orange, yellow and purple colors contrast to the architecture of the North River Terminal which was built in 1937.

The key element was the yellow crane. Artificial fruits are poured out of the containers and that symbolizes the cargo ships navigating the river. One of the containers was turned into a corridor where the archival photographs of ships and historical documents about the city’s transport system are displayed.
