Bobinonton (bobin — spool, ὄντος — being)
The holographic principle of object construction is based on everyday, elemental units, such as the bobbin (from French bobine)—a spool onto which flexible material is wound. The simplicity, versatility, and even the inherent «messiness» of the bobbin in its resting state recall the characteristics of an atom, around which elliptical orbits exist, wound around a nucleus by magnetism. The bobbin is the potential for content.

The plastic bobbin replicates itself through the machine. The machine becomes the intermediary that translates this possibility into action: one bobbin gives rise to another, and the form begins to reproduce itself.
