БЛОГЕР ПОЧИНИЛ BUGATTI ЗА 74$
И ВТОПТАЛ ОФИЦИАЛЬНЫЙ СЕРВИС В ДЕРЬМО
Matt Armstrong proved that official service centers are places where they charge you for the air. He managed to completely restore a rare Bugatti Veyron Oakley Design for only $74. To grasp the scale of the tragedy: this hypercar was produced as a one-off, its body is made of carbon fiber, and the W16 engine’s power is inflated to an incredible 1,200 horsepower. The car itself cost the blogger $1,670,000. And the story began when the car broke down, and the repair quote from the service station made him cry.

The unique twelve-cylinder monster refused to start and absolutely would not shift gears. Every official Bugatti dealer was already cashing in, preparing an invoice to replace half the fuel system and the transmission control unit—a repair that would cost the owner tens of thousands of pounds. However, Armstrong, who had previously dealt with similar temperamental behavior from another Veyron, immediately figured out the trick and started checking the most basic components of the hypercar.

It turned out that the root of all evil was hidden in a standard fuel hose, and the replacement cost was precisely those ridiculous seventy-four dollars. Because high-ethanol gasoline was used, the hose’s rubber had deteriorated. The blogger replaced the tiny tube through which the gasoline flowed, and the eight-liter engine immediately sprang to life, shaking the garage walls with its roar.
