Twilight whisper

A realistic short film about Xiang Zinan (Zhang Junjie), who is called back to his rural home by a phone call from his father (Liu Zhongqing), which is the cause of an extremely absurd incident between the two families that night for some unspeakable reason. The film expresses how the elderly are spiritually enriched in today’s aging society, as well as provoking thoughts about marriage. In the film, the collision of urban and rural thinking, the contradiction between stubbornness and openness, in «black humor», the issue of «marriage» on the stage.
