The Museum of Nomadic Culture is one of the most interesting and unconventional museums in Moscow! It was founded in 2003 by Konstantin Kuksin, renowned ethnographer and traveler.
Museum display consists of nomadic dwellings: yurts, yarangas and chums — where daily tours and lectures about the life, religion and history of different peoples are held. The museum offers a unique opportunity to meet the guides having first-hand experience of expeditions, who have visited the most remote places of our planet. Their knowledge is not based on books, but on direct observation.
