FungiSynth

Fungi Synth is a sound installation consisting of a computer with Arduino software, electrodes, a tablet with Garage Band software, an author’s device, and live mushrooms. Every living being is made up of a set of systems that, working together, create an organism capable of sensing the outside world. Human perception of sound is limited and the installation FungiSynth allows us to expand the boundaries of our perception, showing the viewer the interaction between nature and technology, image and sound. It reminds us that simple organisms such as mushrooms also, like humans, have electromagnetic impulses that respond to touch and the environment
