Leshy & Sirin
My depiction of Leshy is someone who reigns over the forest as a being menacing but as beautiful as nature itself. Here, I made Leshy part of the antagonist group, sharp talons and in a black coat, horns that seem to grow endlessly and has a head of a deer’s skull.
I chose to depict her as radiant, golden and alluring just like her voice. She’s part of the protagonist group while she does not yield a weapon, she has talons that can swipe enemies off.
Voldyanoy & Rusulka
I chose to depict Voldyanoy as a frog-man in an unkept button up and a cane. He’s submerged in an ugly swamp. He is part of the antagonist group, although without power, his stance is cunning and confident as in the story, he lures people to drown.
I chose to depict Rusulka in a swamp under halo lights, elegant yet seductive. She is part of the protagonist group as she yields a weapon which is a spear, where she can fight off those who pose evil towards her while alluring them with her beauty.
Baba Yaga & Kikimura
I chose to depict Baba Yaga as a witchy old-woman in a red dress and a purple shawl. As since she is a witch, she is part of the antagonist group. She is seen in an enchanting forest in her mortar and pestle as well as her walking house. Her face is grimace and wrinkly.
I depicted Kikimura as small, cute and magical. As she yields a weapon that is a giant spindle that can shoot out yarns, she is part of the protagonist group. She’s drawn with a bird’s head and a rat’s body, addorned in a red scarf and a blue dress.
