BOOK DESIGN & EDITORIAL PROJECTS
Books that make ideas tangible

THE SUBJECT SHOULD SHAPE THE BOOK
Some stories need to be uncovered slowly. Some ideas need a route. Some information needs to become clear at a glance.
01 / EXPERIMENTAL BOOK DESIGN
Hiroshima, mon amour

Based on Alain Resnais’ 1959 film, written by Marguerite Duras, this book explores the fragile relationship between love and memory. The reader can cut through part of the binding to reveal a fuller version of the screenplay — turning the act of reading into a physical metaphor for uncovering what has been kept inside.Design focus: structure, typography, and a binding that makes the central idea tangible.66 pp // 140×210 mm // february-march 2026

02 / EDITORIAL COLLABORATION
Oh, Why? — Newspaper of Stieglitz Academy

Created for the Open Days at the Ilya Repin St. Petersburg Academy of Arts, AH, Why? is a newspaper for prospective students that explores the academy from the inside. Through interviews with graduates, it tells stories of personal growth, creative journeys, and life after graduation, presenting the academy not just as an institution, but as a living community full of opportunities.Design focus: editorial storytelling, interview-led content, and a newspaper format that brings the academy’s people and perspectives to the forefront.16 pp // 297×420 mm // may 2025

03 / EDITORIAL DESIGN
Burning Man — (not) a Festival

Big editorial project explores Burning Man as a social and artistic experiment. The book brings together research and perspectives from organisers, participants, musicians, and artists to examine the event’s origins, structure, and cultural influence.
Its opening follows a route from Baker Beach in San Francisco to Black Rock Desert. Recurring visual inserts, carefully organised footnotes, and a considered treatment of photographs help the reader navigate dense material without losing the rhythm of the story.Design focus: turning research into a readable narrative through structure, typography, and pacing.

04 / VISUAL RESEARCH
Salt of the Earth
