AWAITING

This is the story of two individuals. I made this story with the thought of worldwide quarantine that took place a few years ago. It is the story of the lives of two friends who are still confined to their own home and neighborhoods, unable to keep up with their old social comfort, and instead comforts themselves with nature and the walls of their gardens. The two friends keep in contact through networking while hoping for a better tomorrow when they can finally meet face to face again.

The film takes place in Dhaka city, Banani and Gulshan areas, directed and filmed by yours truly, Bijita. The film features short clips of the city’s neighborhood in respect to the characters' monotonous moments.
