The visual study focuses on those who have been through repeated trauma and continue to live, work, feel and create. The book contains the stories of 11 authors, each of whose stories is told in two prisms: a life where all attention is given only to the author’s biography; an art that is a visual series of works by each author in chronological order. Each of them, in its own way, has a traumatic experience and turns it into an art. It’s a book about how trauma, KPTSR, can transform, become part of the experience you can learn from. Sometimes it’s creation. Each of them sublimates their experience in different ways: painting, video art, installation, photographs, literature, etc. Visual research shows how the injury is sublimated into something beautiful, sensed, subtle, and powerful. KPTSR is not a weakness of KPTSR; it is not just about the military KPTSR; it is not an inevitable inferiority. It is an experience because of it.
