This project is about the body-mind connection. It explores how bodywork affects thoughts and feelings; how physical capabilities expand the mind’s boundaries. The project features common people from all walks of life, who know how to listen to their body and control it. They share their thoughts about what working their bodies means for them.

I started taking care of my body because it can often express what cannot be expressed in words. I feel strong when my body is engaged. I feel more confident when I feel strong. — Dolores

Over the years, I noticed that the more depressed I am the more critical I am of my appearance, and vice versa: when the mind is in balance, you are happy to see yourself in the mirror. — Kirill
Through my body, I am in contact with myself and the world. I often understand something on the mat, doing yoga, and then transfer it into life. Most often these are simple truths, but when you experience it with your body, they become real and obvious. — Sasha
Through working the body and investing effort, I began to feel and respect it. Through dancing or stretching, I get focused and relax. — Miroslava
Body is a tool for inner dialogue with God. I treat the body as carefully and understandingly as possible, but I can be strict with it at times. Bodywork always upgrades consciousness, whether it’s yoga or dancing. — Yana
As far as I know, happy people hardly ever start doing yoga, so after a bunch of sport injuries and aches acquired from sedentary work, I took up yoga, and keep doing it still. It was love from the first practice. It is very important to find «your» teacher. — Vika
I can honestly say that the real body-mind upgrade began a little more than a year ago. My relationship with my body has always been quite complicated and contradictory. I saw it through the eyes of others, but finally we are beginning to be friends and connect with each other. — Zhenya
