I want to be better. I want to be boring. I just want to be boring. I no longer agree to reject my natural boredom, my routine. I’m not afraid to be or seem bored. I’m not afraid to disappoint others. All those who deny their regularity, their boredom, only deliberately deceive themselves. With the complete acceptance of my boredom, I’ll be able to get better. I can get bored.
Longrid is concerned with the phenomenon of boredom and seeks to reveal all its advantages, the level of importance to the individual and society, and to attract as many readers as possible to the side of boredom. Of course, it can be argued that the constant pursuit of originality and innovation is the engine of progress and — in the same spirit — of civilization. However, as far as we can see in the past, this desire is not very useful. For if we measure the history of the human race by scientific discoveries, ignoring new ethical concepts, the result will not be too impressive.
