I design worlds where imagination feels real.

Behind the creations:

post

I’m Anastasia — a 3D artist and environmental designer based in Saint Petersburg.

I work across 3D modeling, environment art and spatial design, bringing together artistic imagination and an understanding of how spaces function in the real world.Currently completing my degree in Environmental Design at HSE University (2027 graduate), I approach each project with curiosity, attention to detail and a strong sense of spatial logic. My architectural background allows me to think beyond individual objects — considering scale, composition, materials and the way people experience their surroundings.I’m particularly interested in creating atmospheric environments and exploring the space between reality and imagination. Whether I’m designing a fictional world, a stylized object or a physical installation, I believe that good design should not only look compelling but also feel alive.

What have I been up to?— Designed and developed Pink Hippo, a large-scale art installation, working with 3D modeling, structural solutions, materials and physical fabrication.— Created a 3D model for an exhibition at Manege in Saint Petersburg, which was subsequently 3D-printed and displayed as part of the exhibition.— Participated in an art laboratory at Sevkabel Port, exploring experimental artistic practices and collaborative approaches to creative projects.— Developed projects ranging from architectural concepts and public spaces to imaginary environments, stylized objects and vehicle design.— Expanded my creative practice beyond traditional spatial design, exploring digital sculpting, real-time visualization and different approaches to 3D art.I am fascinated by the relationship between real and imaginary spaces — how architecture influences fictional worlds, how digital ideas become physical objects, and how lighting, materials and small details can give an environment its own personality.

Different worlds. Different ways of telling stories.

My work explores how design, technology and storytelling come together to create believable and expressive experiences.

I’ve organized this portfolio around five creative directions — imaginary worlds, spatial thinking, physical experiences, forms & experiments, and cinematic storytelling.

Each direction explores a different challenge, from designing environments and objects to bringing them to life through movement, atmosphere and visual narrative.

A simple brief.
A wonderfully nerdy solution.

CHRONOZAURUS.HOME (2024)01 / SPATIAL THINKINGThe challenge — To approach a simple residential design brief in an intentionally unconventional way, exploring how far an imaginative architectural concept could be developed without compromising functionality.I wanted to turn a slightly nerdy idea into a fully considered architectural project, balancing creative experimentation with practical spatial design.

The question: Can a playful, almost absurd architectural idea become a believable and functional living space?

The idea — To develop an expressive, sculptural residence while carefully considering its internal organization, proportions, circulation and relationship with the surrounding landscape.

Rather than simplifying the concept, I chose to explore its architectural potential in detail.

Behind the form — The unusual geometry was only the beginning. The challenge was to make the building work as a coherent architectural system.I developed detailed plans, sections, elevations and construction drawings to explore spatial organization, dimensions, structural relationships and the practical implications of the design.Every unusual shape required a considered architectural solution.

The result is a residential concept that combines an unconventional visual identity with carefully developed spatial and technical solutions.Chronozaurus.home reflects my approach to design: experiment freely, but think through the details. The project demonstrates how architectural knowledge and 3D modeling can work together to turn a playful idea into a believable environment.

A little lost.
A lot to fear.

HIDE AND SEEK (2025)02 / ATMOSPHERE & STORYTELLINGThe challenge — To create a cinematic experience in Unreal Engine 5, using environment design, lighting and visual storytelling to convey a sense of fear, uncertainty and discovery.Hide and Seek is a surreal cinematic project that explores how an unfamiliar environment can reflect a character’s inner emotions.Rather than relying only on dialogue, the story unfolds through atmosphere, spatial composition and the relationship between the character and the surrounding world.

Исходный размер 840x360

The question: How can an imaginary environment communicate fear without relying on words?

The idea — To tell the story of a child confronting an unknown, terrifying creature while travelling through a strange and unsettling world.

The journey becomes a metaphor for facing one’s fears, with the environment itself shaping the emotional experience.

The environment combines monumental architectural forms, mysterious interiors, cold lighting and atmospheric effects to create a sense of isolation and suspense.Through camera movement, framing and changes in scale, familiar spaces become unsettling, guiding the viewer from curiosity to tension. The world is not just a backdrop — it becomes part of the story.

The final cinematic brings together environment design, lighting, camera animation and visual storytelling into a single atmospheric sequence created in Unreal Engine 5.The project explores how digital spaces can evoke emotion and support a narrative through visual language.

Not quite on land.
Not quite at sea.

AIGGI GUOLLI (2026)03 / ARCHITECTURE & ATMOSPHEREThe challenge — To design a floating restaurant for a specific coastal location, combining sculptural architecture with functional spatial planning. The project explores how an unconventional architectural form can become part of the natural landscape while creating a distinctive dining experience.
