HAULOUT

Halout is a documentary that follows a man waiting in his hut in the desolate expanse of the Russian Arctic. He is holding out in order to observe a natural event called a haul out. The specific hauling out that is being documented is one of the mighty walrus, in which their survival is threatened by the rising temperatures of the ocean.

These posters are an exploration of various styles while capturing the essence of the documentary. In my pieces I attempted to capture the hardships of the walruses and the natural conditions of ice melting
