Posters for HSE School of Design. Comic book
For comic book posters, I used collages, recognizable shapes and silhouettes to recreate the comic book aesthetic. Most of the posters turned out collage-like and bright.
Posters for HSE School of Design. Contemporary Art Practices
Next, I designed posters for Contemporary Art Practices. The posters form a composition assembled from various elements, which reflects the multimedia and interdisciplinary nature of contemporary art practices: the latter include photography, drawing practices, and various peculiar elements, such as thread and beads.
Posters for silk-screen printing
Next, the posters which had been made earlier were changed to conform to the format of silk-screen printing and rendered in vector space. The colours changed, they became more flat.
Posters for the exhibition «New Kingdom»
The posters for the exhibition «New Kingdom» complete this module. The use of 3D models was a prerequisite for making these posters. I got models of a boat and a lego man. The posters are based on the genre of historical film. They reproduce the aesthetics of a historical movie shot on film.
