JAIN TEMPEL-Renowned for its rich historical past, Digambar Jain Temple is an important landmark in Meerut City. It is indeed one of the highly revered Jain shrines in Meerut whose history dates back to thousands of years ago. Besides its religious significance, the main attraction of this popular pilgrimage site in Meerut is its architecture. The courtyard of the temple includes 7 altars with 7 spires. The first one is called ‘Thikla Wale Baba’ which is said to have been constructed by the deities. The altar also includes an emerald image of Bhagwan Parshvanath — the presiding deity of the temple. As per the beliefs, all the wishes come true if one offers prayer to ‘Thikla Wale Baba’ with all devotion and Farvour.
